Founded by a group of well-experienced and passionate tourism professionals, the African Investment and Tourism Board (AITB) is a visionary organization dedicated to accelerating the socio-economic transformation of Africa through tourism and investment. As a pan-African initiative, AITB operates from its strategic headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia—the diplomatic capital of Africa and home to the African Union.

To foster sustainable tourism development and investment across Africa by connecting public and private stakeholders, facilitating high-impact partnerships, and promoting Africa as a premier destination for tourism, business, and cultural exploration.
